Planning and organizing an event can be a complex task, and sometimes circumstances require us to make changes to our plans. Whether you need to update the payment method, change the date, adjust the guest count, or even cancel the entire event, the AisleGo app makes it easy for users to modify their booked events. Let’s guide you through the process of making changes to a booked event on the AisleGo app.
- Navigate to the Account section within the app: Launch the AisleGo app on your mobile device and log in to your account. Once you’re logged in, locate and tap on “Account” found at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to your account settings.
- Select the “Bookings” tab: Within your account settings, you will find various tabs or options. Look for the “Bookings” tab and select it. This tab contains all the packages and services you have booked through the AisleGo app.
- Choose the specific purchase that needs updating: In the “Bookings” section, you will see a list of your booked packages or services. Scroll through the list and find the event for which you want to make changes. Tap on the specific purchase to access its details and options.
- Click on the “Request a Change” button: At the bottom of the event details page, you will find a button labeled “Request a Change.” Click on this button to initiate the process of modifying your booking.
- Make necessary changes on the next page: After clicking the “Request a Change” button, you will be directed to the next page, where you can make the necessary modifications to your booked event. Depending on the type of change you want to make, you will be presented with different options and fields to update.
- Change Payment Method: If you need to update your payment method, you can do so directly on this page. The AisleGo app allows for immediate changes to payment methods, ensuring a seamless transaction process.
- Change Date: If you wish to modify the date of your event, enter the new desired date in the provided field. Keep in mind that changing the date will require approval from the vendor, as it can affect their availability. Also, the new desired date must be a one that is later than the booked date, it cannot be an earlier date.
- Change Guest Count: To adjust the number of guests attending the event, simply update the guest count field accordingly. Similar to changing the date, altering the guest count will require approval from the vendor and may incur additional costs. Also note that the guest count can only be increased, it cannot be decreased.
- Cancel Event: If you need to cancel the entire event, there will be an option to initiate the cancellation process. Confirm your decision and follow any additional instructions provided. This option will also require vendor approval.
- Await vendor approval (if applicable): For changes other than the payment method, such as date modifications or adjusting guest count, the AisleGo app will notify the vendor of your request. The vendor will review your proposed changes and either approve, deny, or suggest alternatives. It may take some time for the vendor to respond, so be patient during this process.
By following these simple steps, you can make changes to a booked event on the AisleGo app. Remember that while changing the payment method is immediate, other modifications require approval from the vendor.
