When contacting or following up with leads manually via calls, text, or emails you can schedule an appointment for a tour or discovery call by following the steps below.
- Go to the contact’s detail by either clicking on Contacts or Opportunities on the sidebar menu, then click on the name in order to view their details.
- In the right side panel of the contact details page click on the Appointment tab.
- Click on + Add.
- In the Book Appointment popup box, make sure to fill out the following options:
- Calendar – select whether it’s a Discovery Call or Tour
- Appointment Title – make sure the title is clear (i.e., Venue Tour w/ John Smith)
- Date and Slot in the Date & Time section – If Default is selected, select the date and slot available in the dropdown menu. If Custom is selected, select any desired start and end times
- Finally, click on the blue Book Appointment button.
Once the appointment is scheduled, it will send the contact an email notification and create an event for the scheduled time on the assigned team member’s calendar.
